-- Violets, Power Master 1: A Strange Journey

Violet is a reoccurring minor character in the Power Master series. She is usually found running the Inns in the series.

Biography

Violet is usually the Innkeeper throughout the games, all of which share the same name. Most are related to one another, share some relation to a Pam, or have a relation to a different character. Many Violets share the same personality, caring for both their customers and the state of their Inn.

Violet is usually depicted with purple twin-tailed hair and a green dress that parts in the middle. Her age varies between the towns; she appears as a young woman, but there are instances where Violet is a daughter to Pam or even her sister, meaning she would be older or younger than she appears.

With the exception of the one in the Town of Mora, Violet runs every Inn available in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey (in Mora, she is the Shopkeeper in place of Pam). Though nearly every Violet is the same, there are a few notable ones:

  • The Violet in the Town of Bora is the daughter of the town's Pam.[2]
  • The Violet in the Town of Mora runs the Shop instead.
  • The Violet in the Town of Hora can be battled.
  • The player can joke, dance, or flirt with the Violet in the Town of Wora.

Transformations

Violet has the following transformations when the player is under the effects of Doppel's Dimension:

Violet returns as the innkeepers in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV. She has an updated look, but keeps her overall design the same. Like last time, the Violets all share the same role, but there are some exceptions:

  • The Violet in the Town of Bora is the daughter of the town's Pam[3].
  • The Violet in the Town of Fora is the player character's friend and the town's Pam and Jessicas' middle sister. She was born on March 23, 1992, making her 16 years old. Steve & Priscilla Shinn are her parents[Reference incoming].
  • The Violet in the Town of Tora will kick and lock the player out of the Inn if they agitate one of her customers.

Development

Along with Pam, Violet was creation as a condition for Alex's aunt buying RPG Maker VX Ace for him. Violet is based off of his cousin.[4]
