Doppel

Doppel is the boss of its own dimension, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

Biography

Doppel is a powerful being, capable of bending space and time at will. It has no set appearance, instead mimicking its opponents' form, movements, and speech. When it copies someone, it has an inverted color-scheme and it repeats what the person it is copying says back at them, usually to the annoyance of the person it is copying. Doppel does have a way of communicating on its own, as seen on the signs throughout its dimension. It can also choose to not repeat what the person it is copying said, but it is unable to talk on its own otherwise. Doppel can also split into many beings in order to copy multiple people. It also casts a white shadow.

Its name is a shorted variant of the term doppelgänger, which is a being or person that greatly resembles another.

Doppel is found at the end of its dimension, in a large black area. It appears to the player as copies of the four main characters: Stephan, Jennifer, Hamilton, and Helen, and Doppel uses some of their skills in battle. Doppel is always split into the four characters, regardless of how many members are part of the player's team at the time of the encounter. It will not mimic Samantha or Jasmine, even if they are in the battle.

According to the Guardian of Zora, Kyle and Merlina fought Doppel as well.
