Welcome to the Power Master Wiki! There's a lot of information to add, so feel free to add what you know!
Fora Temple is a large building sitting at the end of Fora Forest. It was created by the Guardian of Fora and it is meant to protect the Fora Gem. It first appears in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.
Power Master 1: A Strange Journey
First floor of Fora Temple
Fora Temple is the first dungeon level of Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. There are multiple rooms and halls in the temple, though there are no obstacles other than the enemies. The player has to use Keys to unlock certain doors. Monsters are common, and Swordsmen are found in the north room of the second floor.
|I enjoy giving my characters an aura of mystery around them. Silver Knight, Mysterious Man... Just who are these guys? Even I don't know. I don't know where I'm going with these characters, but I guess that just adds to the fun! On a different topic, I've noticed the forest is usually a starting point for many video game heroes, so I thought why not continue the trend? Well, see you around!|
Power Master: A Strange Journey MV
Fora Temple returns in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, and is the only dungeon accessible in the 0.1.0 demo of the game. The temple receives a significant overhaul, appearing to be in a more ruined state with several pits placed around that make navigation difficult. All the rooms are now placed on the same map, though the first two areas are separated in the 0.1.0 demo. The Hammer Sword is now in a locked Treasure Chest rather than being behind boulders, the one-way door is now in the first room to block access to the Door Key, and the Flip Switch that needs to be pressed to open a barred door on the second floor also appears differently between versions.
Fora Temple serves as a barrier of sorts for the Fora Gem. Originally, only those with pure intentions could enter, but thousands of years of decay have weakened the seal and Monsters now roam inside. The Gem also keeps the Temple standing; on its own after all this time, the building would crumble.
In 2014, an alpha build of Fora Temple was built using the Unity 3D Engine. It is a very basic build, having no textures or anything to interact with. The player can move with the Arrow or WASD Keys, look around with the Mouse, and jump with the Spacebar. The build was officially uploaded to play on the itch.io site on July 1, 2016 and is played in the web browser.
