-- Pams in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, {{{3}}}

Pam is a reoccurring minor character in the Power Master series, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. She is usually the Shopkeeper throughout the games, all of which share the name "Pam". Most are related to one another and some are related to at least one Violet or a different character as well. Many Pams share the same personality, caring for both their money and the state of their Shop.

With the exception of the one in Mora, Pam mans every Shop in Moneo (in Mora, she mans the Inn in place of Violet). Though nearly every Pam is the same, there are a few notable ones:

  • The Pam in Mora runs the Inn.
  • The Pam in Hora has yellow eyes and can be battled.
  • The Pam in Yora was seen during the release trailer for the game.[2]
  • The Pam in Wora has a daughter, as well as hiding a cellar where the Pams and Violets meet.

Pam has the following transformations when under the effects of Doppel's Dimension:

  • In Aora, Pam becomes Freezeflame.
  • In Bora, Pam becomes Jennifer.
    • Likewise, Jennifer can become Pam as one of her transformations.
  • In Dora, Pam becomes a character whose file names are called Melissa.
  • In Eora, Pam becomes a character whose file names are called Madison.
  • In Fora, Pam becomes a male character given by the RPG Maker engine.
  • In Gora, Pam becomes Samantha.
    • After beating the game, she becomes Violet instead.
  • In Hora, Pam becomes the Guardian of Dora.
  • In Iora, Pam becomes a character whose file names are called Kyra.
  • In Jora, Pam becomes a red-haired generic woman.
  • In Kora, Pam becomes Exitilus.
  • In Lora, Pam becomes Red Mage.
  • In Mora, Pam becomes a character given by the RPG Maker engine.
  • In Nora, Pam becomes a table.
  • In Oora, Pam becomes a pink teddy bear.
  • In Pora, Pam becomes Katie.
  • In Qora, Pam becomes a monster character given by the RPG Maker engine.
  • In Rora, Pam uses her original placeholder graphics.
  • In Sora, Pam becomes a statue.
  • In Tora, Pam becomes a bookcase.
  • In Uora, Pam becomes Hamilton.
  • In Wora, Pam gives access to her Shop's cellar.

Card Info

"The pink-haired Shopkeeper in every town in Moneo. They all do their best to please the customer and have friendly rivalries with the other Shopkeepers. In Mora, she runs the Inn instead."

Pam was created due to a condition for Alex's aunt of the same name buying RPG Maker VX Ace for him.[3] She was originally supposed to be a male character, but Alex said he was willing to change it.[4]

  • For Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Pam was the last character to be drawn by Geoffrey Bodine before Alexander Bodine took over drawing the enemies with Violet onward.[5]
