In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Fire Shields are rare shields. According to its description, it is created by fusing a Book of Fire with a shield. When equipped, it increases the wielder's Defense by 30 and the wielder will be immune to the Burned status. Additionally, the wielder will become strong to Water-, Wind-, Stone-, Ice-, and Fire-based attacks.

Pyro Shields return in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV. When equipped, it multiplies the wielder's Defense and Resistance by 1.25 and protects them from being Burned. The wielder will become strong against Dark-, Fire-, Ice-, and Lightning-based attacks, taking no damage from Dark, but will become weak to Air-, Stone-, and Water-based attacks.

As of demo 0.3.0, Pyro Shields are unobtainable.
