Armor Break is a skill in the Power Master series, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Armor Break is a skill learned by Stephan once he reaches Level 25. His corresponding Doppel and the enemy Chester also know the skill. Additionally, equipping a Hammer Sword, Hammer Axe, or Hammer Bow will immediately grant the wielder the Armor Break skill.

In order to use Armor Break, the user needs to have 10 Skill Points in their SP bar. Using the skill will have the character attack one enemy and lower their Defense for three turns.

Armor Break returns as a skill in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV. No character learns the skill naturally, but anyone can learn it by reading a Book of Armor Break. It can also be used by someone that has a Breaker Sword equipped. A stronger variant called Armor Shatter has also been added.

The amount of Skill Points needed to use Armor Break has increased from ten to twenty, but the amount of time the Defense drop lasts has also been increased from three to five.

Burrow and Sharks know the Armor Break skill.

Trivia

  • While the skill is named "Armor Break" in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, when executing the skill, it is spelled with the British variant "Armour Break".
