The Town of Dora (also called The Desert Town) is a desert-themed town in the Land of Moneo. It is first seen in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. It is the home of the player's cousin, who is the granddaughter of the town's Guardian.

Quests

Two quests take place in Dora, though neither are accepted in this town.

For Veronica's quest, the player was told to find her husband, Kevin, who was last seen in Dora, and can be found in the house to the southeast. He'll give the player an Iron Shield for their trouble.

For Kandice's quest, the player was told to play Hide-and-Seek with Kandice, who can be found next to the tree in the north of town. When spoken to, she'll give the player a Light Shield she found when hiding.

Transformations

The following characters transform when the player is under the effects of Doppel's Dimension:

Treasure

  • Fire Axe - Treasure Chest on the northeastern ledge. The player can access it by going through a door in Iora's Inn while the player is transformed.
  • Helen Card - Treasure Chest on the southeastern ledge. The player can access it by going through a door in Hora's Inn while the player is transformed.
  • Silver Ser (50) - Drawer next to the sleeping man in the Inn.

Alex's Statement

Alexander Bodine is found just outside the Shop after the game is completed. When under the effects of Doppel's Dimension, he turns into a placeholder Helen.

Originally, it was just going to be two characters in the party. Helen's role was filled by a character named Alice and Hamilton was taken out completely. Sure, you could swap the characters around at first, but only you and your friend from Bora joined. It wasn't until after I finished Power Master 3 that I went back and made Helen and Hamilton additional members. This explains their omission from that game and Alice will play the role of Hamilton's sister in PM1R. The Blacksmith, Scott, by the way was named after my uncle who payed for Unity 3D for me, but that program proved to be too complicated for me and I added Scott to this game as a sort of apology. The blacksmith in Yora is named Smith, which is his last name. There will also be another character named Scott in Power Master 4. Scott & Smith will continue to appear, just like Pam and Violet. Well, see you around!
