In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, a Book of Ice Block is an equipable weapon and can only be bought from the Blacksmith in Yora. According to its description, it is created by fusing a Book of Ice and a Book of Water together. Book of Ice Block deals both Ice- and Water-based damage and increases the wielder's Attack by 20. It makes the wielder strong against Wind- and Water-based moves, with the wielder taking 75% less damage from Water attacks, but weak to Lightning-based ones. It also raises the wielder's Defense by 25%, making Book of Ice Block one of the few Magic Books that doesn't inflict a Status Ailment on the enemy.
