The Book of Stone is a standard book of Stone-based magic, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, the Book of Stone is an equipable weapon. It deals Stone-based damage to one enemy and it boosts the wielder's Attack by 60, making it the strongest basic Magic Book in the game. It makes the wielder strong against Ice-, Wind-, and Stone-based attacks, but weak to Lightning-based ones. It has a 25% chance of inflicting a Petrified status.

- Dora Pyramid - On the second floor, in the left side of the room with the bridges
- Jora Junkyard - Found by checking the center-southern patch of dirt
- Mora - Purchasable from the Shop
- Nora - In the closet next to the generic man
- Qora - Purchasable from the Shop
- Uora - Purchasable from the Shop
- Zora - Purchasable from the Shop

Books of Stone return in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, this time as a standard item. It can only be used in the field, and will teach a member the Stone skill when used. Moles have a one-in-seven chance of dropping a Book of Stone.
