In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Light Shields are rare shields. According to its description, it is created by fusing a Book of Light with a shield. When equipped, it increases the wielder's Defense by 40 and the wielder will be immune to the Blinded status. Additionally, the wielder will become strong to Dark-, Wind-, and Light-based attacks.

In Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, the shield is renamed to Sol Shield. When equipped, it multiplies the wielder's Defense and Resistance by 1.2. It also makes them immune to being Blinded, and makes them immune to Fire- and Physical-based attacks, while it lowers damage from Earth- and Light-based attacks. However, it is now weak to Dark-based attacks.

As of demo 0.3.0, Sol Shield's are unobtainable.
