Lunar Sword

A Lunar Sword, originally Dark Sword, is a sword in the Power Master series, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. It is created by fusing a sword with a Book of Dark.

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Dark Swords are rare weapons and can only be bought at the Blacksmith in Dora. When equipped, it will increase the wielder's Offense by 100. It, along with the corresponding Dark Axe, Dark Bow, and Dark Whip are the only magical weapons that do not inflict a Status Ailment on enemies. Equipping it will cause the wielder to become stronger to Dark- and Physical-based attacks, but become weaker to Light- and Stone-based attacks. One is also needed to complete Katie's quest.

Lunar Swords return in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV. When equipped, it multiplies the wielder's Defense and Power by 1.5, their Counter chance by 20%, and a 35% chance of Poisoning an opponent. It also gives the wielder the Dark skill as long as it is equipped. Dark Swordfish have a one-in-five chance of dropping a Lunar Sword. One is also needed to complete Katie's quest.
