A Frost Patch, originally Heat Pack, is a key item in the Power Master series, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. It allows the wearer to withstand freezing temperatures.

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, a Heat Pack allows the player to withstand the freezing temperatures of Aora Avalanche. It only needs to be in the player's inventory in order for it to take effect. It, along with the Aqualung and Ice Block, is one of the three key items in the game that can be bought and sold at Shops and is only sold in the town of Aora. One is also given to the player after their initial conversation with the town's Guardian. It also does not have an item icon, a trait it shares with the other two aforementioned items as well. While the player can buy as many as they want, only one needs to be in the inventory, regardless of how many members are on the team.

In Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, the item is renamed Frost Patch. Like in the last game, its purpose is the help the player character withstand the freezing temperatures of Aora Avalanche and only one needs to be in the player's inventory to be in effect.

As of demo 0.3.0, Frost Packs are unobtainable.
