Bruze
Bruze is the boss of Rora Capers, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.
Biography
Bruze is a green Shark. In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Bruze is territorial, claiming and protecting Rora River as its own and leads the other sharks. In Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, it gains a set of armor created from underwater ruins, and its body appears damaged. The Guardian of Rora says sharks are not native to the Land of Moneo and likely came from the Land of Shadurn or the Land of Telbed, or perhaps were created by the Rora Gem.[1]

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Bruze is a large shark that devours everything it sees and is the leader of the Sharks infesting Rora River. It ate the Rora Gem and retreated into Rora Capers. It is strong against Water-based attacks and is immune to being Slowed, though is weak to Lightning- and Ice-based attacks. Bruze's battle sprite in Power Master 1 is simply a recolor of the Shark sprite.

Bruze returns in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV as the boss of Rora Capers. Rather than just a simple palette swap, Bruze now appears wearing armor and its body appears damaged. Its stats are weaker, having less Health, Offense, and Defense, and no longer having an immunity to being Slowed. However, it has gained more attacks (Pierce, Armor Shatter, and Tsunami), and its basic attack property now deals Sword-based damaged to match its teeth. If the player fails to defeat Bruze, the Game Over will state that the sharks have eaten the heroes.
