Hora Headquarters (abbreviated as Hora HQ) is a fortress-themed area that is north the town of Hora. It is first seen in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

As soon as the player enters Hora Headquarters's grounds, they will be stopped by two Guards and the player must defeat them in order to move on. Hora Headquarters is a heavily guarded fortress; stepping onto a spotlight tile will send the player to the HQ's internal prison. If the player opened the cell door from the inside, they can simply escape. If not, the player needs to use a Gem in order to get out. Thieves are encountered throughout the dungeon. A Battle Axe can be obtained from behind the fortress if at least two spotlights are turned off.

The first floor is a large spacious room with a locked room in the center. The stairs to the right will take the player to the basement floor and the stairs to the left lead to the second floor.

On the basement floor, the player is able to turn off the spotlights outside. Stepping onto the buttons will turn off the corresponding spotlight (the button on the bottom-left will turn off the southwest spotlight, etc.). The player needs to turn off all the spotlights in order to progress. The player is also able to open the cell door with the switch next to the stairs.

The second floor contains two large halls, with the first one (on the left) leading to the siding outside. By walking around the outside platform, the player can access the Key to the door on the first floor in the hall on the right.

The third floor consists of a single large room where the boss, GrandHypnock, is found.


After the game is completed, Hora Headquarters will appear to be in a dismantled state. The ending states that remains of other people were found underneath it. The Battle Axe is also no longer obtainable.
