An Ice Block is a key item in the Power Master series, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. It protects the player from scorching heat.

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, an Ice Block allows the player to withstand the heat of Dora Desert. It only needs to be in the player's inventory in order for it to take effect. It, along with the Aqualung and Heat Pack, is one of the three key items in the game that can be bought and sold at Shops and is only sold in the town of Dora. It also does not have an item icon, a trait it shares with the other two aforementioned items as well. While the player can buy as many as they want, only one needs to be in the inventory, regardless of how many members are on the team.
