In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Fire Shields are rare shields, though they can be bought at the Blacksmith in Yora. According to its description, it is created by fusing a Book of Fire with a shield. When equipped, it increases the wielder's Defense by 30 and the wielder will be immune to the Burned status. However, the wielder will become weak to Water-, Wind-, and Stone-based attacks, but become strong against Ice- and Fire-based attacks.
