Fora Forest is a large forest that lays to the east of the town of Fora and contains the dungeon level Fora Temple. It first appears in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.
Power Master 1
In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Fora Forest is the first area the player explores as the player needs to go through it in order to reach Fora Temple. It connects to the town of Fora in the west and Fora Temple rests in the southeastern section.
Enemies
Monsters are the only enemies found in Fora Forest, but they are split into two groups. Ranges marked with "1" have only one Monster attack the player, but ranges marked with "2" have a pair of Monsters attack. The Monsters will only jump out and attack when the player walks in the grass, which is a reference to the Pokemon series.
Treasures
There are three Treasure Chests in Fora Forest:
- Northwest - Bronze Ser (20)
- Center - Wood Shield
- Near Fora Temple - Health Vial
Alex's Statement
Alexander Bodine is found south of the entrance to the forest after the game has been completed. When under the effects of Doppel's Dimension, he turns into Stephan's placeholder graphic.
Let me tell you about Stephan. He was created as the common hero kid seen in most animes, I think. Spiked hair, young age, and a sword and shield. That's all you need to start an adventure! Unlike most of my characters where I named them off of a person I know, I wanted Stephan to feel a bit more unique to me, so I gave him a random name I thought up. Stephan's past and future will be a big part in games to come, in fact, his ancestors will be the main characters for Power Master 2. Well, see you around! |
Power Master 1: A Strange Journey MV
As Power Master 1: A Strange Journey MV is a remake of Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Fora Forest reappears, though it has been heavily redesigned. The Forest is more condensed, ledges have been added, the layout is slightly different, and players can see beyond the Forest into Moneo and the town of Fora. A path is also present, leading from the town to the temple. Fora Temple also appears to be slightly redesigned, having two pillars on top instead of six, holes in the walls, and a broken window.
