The Book of Wave is a book of Water-based magic, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, a Book of Wave is an equipable weapon that can only be bought at the Blacksmith in Yora. According to its description, it is created by fusing two Books of Water together. Book of Wave deals Water-based damage and increases the wielder's Attack by 20. It makes the wielder strong against Wind-, Water-, Stone-, and Fire-based moves, but weak to Lightning- and Ice-based ones. The wielder takes 75% less damage from attacks they are strong against, but 400% more damage from ones they are weak against. It also has a 75% chance of inflicting a Slowed status ailment on the enemy.
