In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, a Book of Scorch is an equipable weapon. According to its description, it is created by fusing two Books of Light together. Book of Scorch deals Light-based damage and it increases the wielder's Attack by 60. It makes the wielder strong against Light- and Wind-based attacks, but weak to Dark-based ones, with the wielder taking 75% less damage from Light and Wind and 400% more damage from Dark. Book of Scorch also has a 75% chance of inflicting a Blinded state on the enemy.
