Special Shield is a skill in the Power Master series, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Special Shield is a skill learned by Stephan at Level 30, and by Jennifer and Helen at Level 25. Hamilton cannot learn it due to his inability to use shields.
This skill requires a shield to be equipped and uses 50 Special Points. When used, Special Shield raises all current party members' Defense stat for five turns. After which it will return to normal.
