Pounding Blow is a skill in the Power Master series, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Pounding Blow is one of the four ultimate skills the player can learn. Stephan and Hamilton learn this skill once they reach Level 30. The character needs to have an axe equipped in order to use this skill and it requires all of the character's Special Points in order to be cast. Jennifer and Helen cannot learn this skill due to them not being able to use axes.
Pounding Blow will quadruple the user's Attack and negates a single enemy's Defense, dealing heavy damage.
