Dora Desert is a large desert that lays just south of the town of Dora. It is first seen in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

Dora Desert in PM1

In order to traverse Dora Desert, the player needs to have an Ice Block in their possession in order to withstand the Desert's heat. The only way through the Desert is by following a certain path, though at least one character has been known to ignore it completely. The path is difficult to see, but it becomes easier to make out if the game screen is smaller. Stepping off the path will result in the player being warped back to the start of the Desert near the entrance into Dora. At the end of the path sits Dora Pyramid, the dungeon level for Dora. Corpses will attack the player as they make their way through the desert.

The path of the desert outlined

The player is able to find a Heal-All Health Vial at the oasis by moving right just before the only sand dune the player can walk directly next to then heading up when the player is just below the oasis.

The glitch in action

It's possible to get a glitch in the desert. The player has to step off the path, which will cause the screen to turn a yellow tint. Before the transition that warps the player back to the start of the desert happens, the player has a few seconds of movement. During this time, the player can move into Dora, Dora Pyramid, or use a Gem to warp to another place. By doing this, the screen will retain it's yellow tint. The intensity of the tint depends on when the player left Dora Desert. The tint will even carry over into battles, though it does not effect dialogue or menu boxes. To fix the glitch, simply go back to Dora Desert and let the whole transition play out.
