Lyktor is a minor character in the Power Master series, first appearing in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV. The character is based on Link from the Legend of Zelda series.

Biography

Lyktor is a young man from a place called Hytopia. Visually, he appears in his mid-teens, and is a skilled sword-fighter. He wears a red tunic and cap, and carries a sword with him. Some time prior to his appearance in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, Lyktor was cursed, making him unable to speak. His partner, Ana, speaks for him, though Lyktor is still capable of communicating in other ways.

Once the player collects five Gems, Lyktor and Ana will appear in Fora Forest. Ana will tell them that Lyktor is looking for a special sword, and their travels brought them to the Land of Moneo. They are given a clue about where to look and requests the player to help them. Accepting will temporarily place him on the player's team if there is a spot open. After finding the sword Lyktor is looking for, he will be removed from the team and cannot be recruited again.

Character information

Lyktor has a unique Hytopian Hero class, which gives him high Health and Agility, but low Energy and Resistance. He can wield swords, shields, and wands. He comes equipped with a Silver Sword, Sol Shield, Pyro Armor, and Brawn Bracelet. He is set to being Level 25 and cannot Level Up. Like most quest characters, he is not able to be given commands during battle and fights automatically.

Trivia

• With the character being based on Link, there are many parallels between the two. Lyktor's curse is in reference to Link being a typically silent character. Ana is based on Navi, Tatl, and Ciela, who are all fairy companions to Link. Lyktor's inventory is similar to Link's, matching the White Sword, Mirror Shield, Goron Tunic, and Power Bracelet of the Zelda series.
