Stephan (full name Stephan Powers) is a major character in the Power Master Series. He is a reckless, but brave, character with a strong sense of justice and friendship. He has or will appear in every Power Master game so far.

Biography

Not much is known about Stephan's past. He lives with his grandfather, the Guardian of Fora, for now and is a descendant of Kyle and Merlina. His birthday, November 11th is the month and day of Power Master 1: A Strange Journey's completion in the planning stages.

Power Master 1: A Strange Journey

In PM1, Stephan is fourteen years old. He sets out to save the world from Exitilus, following in his ancestors footsteps.

If the player chooses to start off as anyone other than Stephan, he will fill the role that was supposed to be taken by the selected player. This gives Stephan the most amount of roles (4) than anyone else (1 or 2).

Power Master 1R: A Stranger Journey

Stephan's role(s) will be the same as in the original game, though he will be accompanied by his friend Andrew.

Power Master 2: The Legend

Stephan has a minor role in PM2. Here, he is an observer, reading about his ancestors going on their quest, but he is able to talk to them through the magical Journal.

If the player chooses to be Helen, Stephan will appear to talk to her after the completion of the Zora Zone.

Power Master 3

In PM3, Stephan does not appear until halfway through the game, in the town of Fora. He is the leader of his team, which consists of only him and Jennifer. If Jennifer was chosen as the heroine from PM1, Stephan will be the partner. If the player chooses Hamilton or Helen as the hero from PM1, Stephan will not appear at all.

Stephan is fought twice in Power Master 1: once as the Warrior of Bora if the player chooses to be Jennifer, and again as a part of Alex's team in the Area Unknown.

In order for Stephan to be fought as the Warrior, Jennifer needs to be the chosen player at the start of the game.

To fight Alex's team, the player must find and talk to Alex in 26 different locations. Afterward, Alex will ask the player if they want to fight his team.
