Yora Yore is a place located south of the Town of Yora where a large festival is held every year. The festival usually contains a number of mini-games the player can participate in, though the main attraction is a large tournament, known as the Yora Tournament. It is first seen in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Yora Yore is brought back after being disbanded for an unspecified amount of time. Two mini-games are playable, both of which are mazes. For both mazes, running has been disabled.

In the grass maze, which costs 10 Sers to participate, the player has to race against three other people to the end. Only the boy will make it to the end, as the girl and man become lost. Beating the other characters to the end will reward the player with a Platinum Ser, worth 100 Sers. Should the boy beat the player to the end, the player will not receive anything.

In the stone maze, which costs 25 Sers to participate, the player has to make it to the end within a time limit of one minute, thirty seconds. The reward given to the player is based on how much time is remaining when the player reaches the end:

In the south end of Yora Yore is the Yora Tournament, which has already ended by the time the player arrives. Talking to the Guardian of Yora will reveal the winner of the Tournament: Gold Knight. As a reward, Yora allows Gold Knight one free wish using the Yora Gem. Gold Knight notices the player and wishes to fight them, beginning the boss battle of the area. After defeating Gold Knight, he will leave and the player is rewarded the Gem. Returning to the ring will show another fight in progress, likely a post-tournament match.

After the player defeats Exitilus, the Battle Mode will be available to play, which puts the player through a gauntlet of enemies.

Quests

One quest is accepted and ultimately completed in Yora Yore. By talking to the character Marceus south of the Yora Tournament ring, he will tell the player he is looking for a "rare and powerful magic book". Giving him the book he is looking for will reward the player with an Arcfire Tome.

Transformations

When under the effect of Doppel's Dimension, the characters around the Yora Tournament ring transform into a variety of things. The player can also enter the ring in this state, though nothing will happen.
