The Land of Moneo (or simply Moneo) is a major area in the Power Master series. It is where Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, and Power Master 2: The Legend take place. The land is filled with enemies, but staying on the paths will protect the player from battles.

Power Master 1: A Strange Journey

The player is first able to enter Moneo from Fora after they defeat the Silver Knight, though the player has to talk to the Guardian of Fora before leaving, otherwise the player will be unable to go to their next destination. Trying to leave Moneo will result in the game telling the player that "The land ahead does not hold your adventure" and tells them to come back "another day...", with the exception of one quest that allows the player to leave for a brief time. After the game has been completed and the player receives the Airship in Sora, they can access the dungeon levels from the world map. The player can also find many secret treasures by burning trees or bombing mountainsides.

In-progress Moneo in Power Master MV

The Land of Moneo returns as the overworld in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV. The land contains different geography from the original incarnation, though the layout appears to be mostly the same. Letters signifying the towns are visible.

Trivia

  • Despite Vora Volcano and Wora Waters still existing after the endgame of Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, the Airship is unable to bring the player to those locations.
