The Guardian of Iora is, as the name implies, the Guardian of the Town of Iora. He first appears in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey.

Power Master 1: A Strange Journey

In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, the Guardian of Iora is a lazy man, tending to get others involved in things he needs to do in order to avoid doing them himself.

When meeting Stephan, he says the bridge to Iora Island has been destroyed. He can rebuild the bridge if he has the materials, so he tells the player to get ten Logs from certain trees in the Land of Moneo. Upon returning with the Logs, Iora uses his Gem to craft them into a new bridge, to which Stephan asks if Iora could've just conjured up a new bridge. Iora responds by saying he didn't want Stephan to miss out on manual labor, and then tells them to clear out the Eels in Iora Cavern before he agrees to give them the Gem.
